Ping Pong for Good
Ping Pong for Good is a movement for brain health. We're an education and resource hub dedicated to sharing the transformative power of ping pong (also known as "table tennis") for people living with neurological conditions, including Parkinson's, dementia, and mild cognitive impairment, and for anyone pursuing healthy aging - staying sharp, active, and connected at every age.
We connect individuals, families, caregivers, and communities with the science, tools, and trusted partners they need to experience the cognitive, physical, and social benefits of therapeutic ping pong.
The Health Benefits of Ping Pong include:
-

May slow the progression of neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive decline
-

Improves blood circulation to the heart and brain
-

Increases agility, coordination, balance, flexibility & strength
-

Helps elevate mood and reduce feelings of isolation and depression
What a Therapeutic Ping Pong Session Looks Like
A well-designed therapeutic ping pong session begins with a full-body warm-up, followed by hand–eye coordination exercises, skill-building drills, and rally-based gameplay. As participants progress, tailored progressions safely enhance cognitive engagement, improve overall fitness, and build table tennis skills.
This science-based approach is designed to help reduce symptoms associated with neurological conditions and promote healthy aging.
